AI FILM

Mads dives deep into the intersection of human vision and machine intelligence, constantly exploring the limits of creativity. With over a decade of experience in film production, digital media, and content strategy, he understands what it takes to craft powerful stories, from development to post-production, and now with AI at the core.

His work has been showcased at Hayward Gallery’s Art Night, Lumiere Cinema, and beyond, spanning fashion, tech, sustainability, and culture. Mads has collaborated with brands like Coca-Cola, Pandora, VRAI Diamonds, the Norwegian Seafood Council, and DR, while also shooting and editing editorial and documentary films for VICELAND, VICE, MUNCHIES, NOISEY, and VOX.

As a filmmaker, editor, and DOP, Mads found his way into AI-driven creativity out of both curiosity and necessity. If new tools were going to shape the future of filmmaking, he decided to dive in rather than resist. What started as an experiment, turning a walk through Frederiksberg Garden with his son into an AI-enhanced visual story, quickly became a creative obsession. Now, he explores how generative AI can expand storytelling, production, and post-production possibilities, especially for independent creators.

For Mads, AI isn’t a shortcut, it’s a tool that unlocks new creative frontiers while keeping human ingenuity at the center. His biggest creative partner, Emil Walder at Gobsmack, has played a key role in pushing his AI exploration forward, especially through their "Human Touch" film. Two minds, he believes, are always better than one.

Outside of work, Mads loves getting lost in films, books, games, and history, but nothing beats time outdoors with his son and girlfriend. AI is evolving fast, and while he sees it becoming a staple in creative production, he also believes it will spark a renewed love for purely human-made content, just like digital music made people appreciate vinyl again. For now, he’s excited to be part of this journey, watching it all unfold.
