Gaming Studios Are Applying AI for Process (For Now)

Major gaming Studios like Capcom are using AI heavily within the ideation and development phase of concepting, but are still refusing to ship fully AI-generated final assets. Currently, AI is used for speed, yet only a few studios are able to crack a high level of craft execution required for fully AI leveraged gaming experiences. As some production companies use gaming software, like unreal engine, to drive post-production executions, the lines will increasingly start to blur across the board. 

Why this matters for you: The market currently still values human-authored final output, however, as the line blurs between what is human authored or not (AI actors, worlds building, post production), the difference between the two will be become extremely grey and key to navigate correctly. Having the right partner to navigate this journey as a brand and agency will be more key than ever before.
