What if now
Melissa, also known as What If, is an Italian artist whose work blends photography, screenwriting, and AI to explore surrealism, romanticism, and the edges of visual storytelling. Her creativity began in childhood, building sculptures from found objects and has since evolved into a career defined by curiosity and transformation. The question “What happens if?” has guided her artistic path, leading her to experiment with AI as both a tool and a muse.
Her images often carry a dreamlike, symbolic quality - eyes appearing as a recurring motif - and are shaped by a fusion of classical technique and digital innovation. Melissa’s work seeks to evoke emotion and wonder, while also imagining a more sustainable future through AI. As a co-founder of AI Muses, she’s helping to amplify the voices of women artists who are reimagining creativity at the intersection of art and technology.
